Originally produced for home video by the British Film Institute in 1991 and released in the USA on VHS videotape by Milestone Film & Video, this ten-volume (nine-disc) collection of prerevolutionary Russian film productions is now available on NTSC DVD-R discs.

Sten’ka Razin (1908) includes a videotape time code in the lower left corner of the picture and runs the length of the film.

The film are accompanied with piano music scores by Neil Brand.
